Congratulations to all the children who received their 

First Holy Communion. 

Year One have been praying for all of you.

On Friday we will be thinking about Mary and her role in the life of Jesus. We will begin our day with a special assembly about Mary and will take part in lots of activities about Mary and visit The Lady Chapel in church. May is a special month devoted to Our Lady.

Next  Tuesday 12th May we will be going on our school trip to Cannock Toy Museum.

We will be finding out about toys and games from the past.

We will  be learning  to dance like a toy.

We will be making toys.

In RE we will be learning about the Ascension.

Jesus was taken up to heaven but promised to send something very special to help us.

We will be praying foryear 3 as they make their First Holy Communion this Saturday.

We are still in the season of Easter and we will be  finding out what the disciples did after The Resurrection.
