Tomorrow is the First Sunday of Advent.
We changed our prayer focus to purple this week.
We made  our Advent promises and we took our
Advent Walk with Me calendars home.
Remember to follow it every day and try to Walk with Jesus during Advent.

On Sunday we will stand in silence for 1 minute to  remember all those who died in the World Wars. We will also pray for peace throughout our world.

 Well done to 1TD who visited Acocks Green Library on Wednesday.
 The librarian talked to the children about borrowing 
books and taking care of them.

Well done to all the children in Year One for settling back to school so well.
Next week we will be counting and adding numbers together.
In RE we will be talking about the celebrations we have with our families and friends. We will be talking about birthdays, Baptism. When do you celebrate with your family?

We also celebrate in a very special way when we go to Mass.

One World Week

We have been learning about different faiths. We have been learning about the Jewish festival of light called Hanukkah.




This will be a very busy week. On Monday please join us for Key Stage One Awards at 8.50in our school hall.


On Wednesday Year 6 present their Leaver's Assembly.

On Thursday 17th please join us for our end of year Mass at 10am.

Today we celebrated together thinking about Mary. We gathered and looked at different images of Mary and stories from her life. We praised Mary, shared the Hail Mary and joined in the procession with flowers to honour Mary.
