The Last Supper

We will be learning  about The Last Supper.

Jesus shared bread and wine.
He said "This is my body."
Then he said "This is my blood."

We know that we are invited to share this special meal
when we go to Mass.

Next week  is our Holy Week in school.
We will journey with Jesus through his last week on earth.
We begin on Palm Sunday, we will share the Last Supper and walk with Jesus as he bears his cross on Good Friday.
What would you say to Jesus?

On Monday we will gather for our special Holy Week  assembly. This will begin our Holy Week journey following Jesus in his last days on earth.
We will remember the story of Palm Sunday
when Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey.
What did the people shout?
What did they wave?

If Jesus came to our playground how would you feel?
What would you say to him?
