On Sunday we will celebrate the First Sunday of Advent. 
The Advent wreath will be blessed and lit in church.

We welcomed Advent at school on Thursday. We wore bright Advent colours and made Advent wreaths,decorations and prayers. We gathered in the hall and blessed our wreaths and candles and lit the lights on our Christmas tree.

Well done to all our children who supported our Family Mass this morning on The Feast of Christ the King. We'll done to year 6 and year 3 who read beautifully and the choir who sang so well. Fr Craig celebrated our Mass and asked us to be kingly like Jesus in what we do and say.

 This is the final week of The Year of Faith.

On Tuesday the school choir will  be visiting St Chad's Cathedral to lead the music  for The Good  Shepherd Appeal Mass.
The Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Bernard Longley.
They will be presenting our Lenten charity money~so well done for all your hard work and generosity!
