Remember Class 1TA it is our assembly on Tuesday 2nd March at 9.10am in the school hall. All parents and grown ups are very welcome. Class 1TA have been very busy learning lots of new things to tell you in their assembly.
In RE we will be thinking about what we need to do during Lent~Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving.

In Maths we will be continuing to work on our Time targets.
We will also be problem solving with money. We will also be checking if you know your number bonds to 10 to help you when you are shopping.

Next Week

In Literacy we will be continuing our work on Poetry. We will be reading The Smartest Giant in Town and writing our own Smartest Giant Poem using WOW words.
Have you read this story? What is you favourite part and why?
I love the rhyming text and how kind and generous the giant is to all of his friends.

History

This term we will be finding out about old and new toys. Don't forget to bring 1 toy to school for Our Museum Shop.

Today we thought about how Rosie and the sly, old fox felt in our story of Rosie's walk this week. You used fantastic WOW words to describe the feelings of both characters.
